Lemax Sitting woman and a dog!

Me and my big mouth. Never should have said that I could paint these figures better as they were. These figures are from the well known Christmas towns you see everywhere around in the shops these days. The woman of my oldest son collects them to. And it is her I told that the figures were ugly painted. The result was I get these two as a test for a repaint.

So the following pictures are from before and after the paintjob. Size is about 54 mm, hard plastic and the sculpting could have been better.

After:

Well I hope she will be happy with them. And I will wait and see how many other figures will come my way for a repaint.

Hope you like them to? Some more pictures.

Waterloo1815 AP011 Dervish Infantry

Just a small to let you all know that I'm still alive. I'm so busy with a lot of things, private as work, that there isn't much time for blogger. To catch up with you all it will be in the winter hollidays. I hope I find time then to visit your blogs.

In the mean time I found some time to paint some more figures for my slowly growing Muslim/Arab army. This time the ones from Waterloo1815. These are from rather hard plastic, put painted up very well. As allways with acrylic paint.

Here are the pictures (a lot!):

But I really like how the donkey turned out:

I hope you like them!

Esci set 238 Muslim Warriors Part 2

I could have split these up, but I'm so happy I have these finished that I post them all in one go! These are the last nine poses of this set. I posted six figures earlier in my Esci set 238 Muslim Warriors Part1 post. In that post you can also read how I painted them. Very simple as I may say.

As you can see my small Muslim army is growing every time a little bit more. I also finished the figures (one of each pose in the set) of another set but that is for later on this month. Wich means I'm getting close to the end of this small project I wanted to do this year.

Enjoy the pictures!

One of the chiefs!

Strange that after taking pictures, that
you allways see some things that has to
be corrected!

As said, I wanted to keep it simple, so red on the flag,
and no marks!

I hope you like them!

Jean Höfler Figures 5 and 6

Just a small post to let you know that I'm still busy. Last week the doctor gave me green light to go back to work. So next Monday, after almost four months they will see me back at the office! For that reason I'm doing everything to clean up my painting desk, and the only thing I'm doing now is painting and basing things. I know when I'm back at work, the first days there will be not much time to paint, but maybe some more time to post things. So you can look forward to a lot of painted stuff!

Today I present the next two figures of the Jean Höfler range I've painted. The first one is painted in random colors and the second one could be an old confederate soldier. These figures are a real joy to paint when you're not in the mood for painting little details! And you can give them almost all colors whatever you want. More figures will follow in the future! In the mean time enjoy these two!
